Creative Power Flow (Intermediate)
This class takes you out of your comfort zone! Each class is different as you progressively build a creative sequence of poses that climax into a fluid and energetic breath-centered flow. This class provides a well-rounded and challenging practice with an emphasis on breath, proper alignment, mind-body-soul connection, and fullest personal expression. Show up ready for a creative, musically charged experience where you will work, sweat and have fun! Creative flow is heated to 90 degrees with music!
Core Focused Flow
This class meant to bring the heat as you move through 75 minutes of challenging flow, focused on igniting your core with an emphasis on breath, proper alignment, mind-body connection, and turned on tapas! Show up ready to work, sweat and have fun! Core Focused Flow is heated to 90 degrees.
Power Flow & Restore
Flow & Restore begins with an invigorating power flow to refresh and awaken your body and progresses into pure restoration. You will slow down, breath deep with ease into restorative poses to relax and restore your body.
Restorative Yoga (Non Heated)
In this crazy world we live in it is common to find ourselves existing in fight or flight mode (running from a bear!) in our day to day lives. This class is a chance to carve out space for quiet and stillness, so that the rest and digest portion of your nervous system can get some much needed TLC. Choose rest as a priority! This practice is totally passive and supported with props,and is perfect for anyone and everyone.
Gentle Yoga (Non Heated)
Allows both new and experienced students to learn poses postures and breathing at a slower pace. Poses are taught in a methodical manner, using yoga props as needed to help gently stretch, strengthen, balance and energize. This class may be helpful to new students with minimal flexibility to learn to move with greater ease, students recovering from illness or injury and mothers returning after pregnancy.
Yin Yoga w/ Essential Oils (Non Heated)
Based on the Taoist concepts of yin and yang, opposite and complementary principles in nature. In the body, the relatively stiff connective tissues are yin, while the more mobile and pliable muscles are yang. In this class we will dive deep into Yin poses holding some shapes for up to 5 minutes. All the while pairing the poses with complimenting essential oils, supporting you through your practice. You will leave feeling stimulated, rejuvenated and balanced.
All Levels Yoga
Inspired by the Dharma Yoga series. Students will practice pranayama (breathing techniques) DY Surya Namaskar Vinyasa to warm up the body, bring flexibility to all muscles and joints, and wake up the nervous system. A series of balancing, stretching, back bending, twisting and mild inverted postures will follow. This practice ends with Deep Relaxation to promote a deep sense of well-being to the body and peace to the mind.
Kids Yoga ( Ages 5-11)
Kids will learn yoga poses while creating a playful, fun class experience through games, props and music. Classes focus on building self-confidence, strength and concentration. Children are encouraged to express themselves and connect with each other through Yoga and free expression.
Beginner Modern Dance
Modern Dance Beginners class, you will learn to move in a creative, freeing and graceful way, while also transforming your posture and balance and improving your fitness. You’ll combine aspects of different Contemporary techniques such as Simonson, Horton, Limon, West African dance. Modern Dance class builds up from simple steps and techniques to fully formed routines. It’s fast and fun, but the teaching style is fully supportive and suitable for people with little or no dance experience.No dance shoes required. Class is done barefoot. All ages 7 abilities are welcome!
ZUMBA® is a fusion of Latin and International music / dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, and based on the principle that a workout should be “FUN AND EASY TO DO.” The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body.
Beginner Yoga Series
The Beginners Series is an opportunity for you learn the basic foundation and alignment of asana Yoga practice. The series is held 4 weeks consecutively for 75 minutes. Each class builds on the previous one, preparing the students to understand the progression of practice. Yoga postures, Meditation, Pranayama (breath), Discussion, Demonstration, hands on assists and a guided practice will leave you invigorated and empowered!
